Frequently Asked Questions


What are your hours of operation?  What is your room number?

Monday – Thursday, 7:00 until 4:00    Friday, 7:00 until 3:30    Room 105


2. Are you open during lunch and can students eat lunch there?

We are open during lunch.  A snack may be eaten here; lunches must be eaten in the cafeteria.


3. Do you require students to have a pass during class to come to the RAM Center?

Yes.  Student must enter with a RAM Center pass or the standard Washington High School pass.


4. Is an ID card required to visit the RAM Center?

Current student ID cards are required before /after school and at lunch.

However, when a student has been sent by a teacher, we allow them to type-in their ID number if they have forgotten their card that day.


5. How many computers are in the RAM Center?

18 student computers, of which several are used by online students each hour.


6. Is there a printer for student use?

Yes, with a 5 page limit unless a student asks to make an exception. Sorry, no color.


7. May a student make-up a test in the Ram Center?

New policy:  Yes, providing the teacher delivers the test in advance.  We will place the completed test in the teacher's mailbox or they may pick it up.  No student may hand-carry a test to or from the center.


8. What is the electronic devices policy of the center?

Electronic devices may be used only before and after school.


9. Are art/craft supplies available for student use?

There are project supplies: scissors, glue sticks, colored pencils, crayons, etc.


10. Do you provide any food?

Title 1 funding provides a light breakfast in the AM and a snack in the PM. Students must be checked in and working for a minimum of 15 minutes and must write their name down when they take food/drink.
