2005 Region Tournament
The boys competed in the Skyline Region Tournament at Paseo Racket Club April 18-20. The Rams had a superb showing, placing 3 of 4 teams into the semifinal round. Top singles player Andy Green captured 3rd place, soundly defeating McClintock in the playoff match. His freshmen brothers Brian and Chris Green also finished 3rd defeating teammates Cody Plepel and Taylor Campbell who were awarded the 4th place medal. Matt Graham played his best match of the season, losing a 3-setter to Glendale in his second round. Congratulations to the Rams for an awesome showing.
2005 State Tournament
The Rams were well represented at the State Championships at the Tucson Racket Club April 27. Andy Green faced a tough Cactus Shadows opponent in his opening singles round and lost 6-1, 6-4. In doubles, Brian and Chris Green defeated Moon Valley by default in the first round. In the second match, the twins lost to a strong Pinnacle team who finished 3rd in the tournament. Great job Greens!
2005 Season
With a 5-6 record, the squad improved with every swing of the racket. The boys represented the Rams well, travelling from Prescott to Tucson. Coach Green applauds all the boys for their hard work, dedication and sportsmanship.
