Our preschoolers have started monthly visits to Washington’s Media Center with Mrs. Harmon, our interim Media Center Director! 📚✨

This month, students enjoyed How I Became a Pirate by Melinda Long, illustrated by David Shannon.

After the story, they learned more about Shannon’s artwork and wrapped up with a fun directed drawing inspired by his illustrations. 🏴‍☠️🎨

We love seeing our youngest learners exploring books, creativity, and the joy of storytelling here at WHS! 💙
