Big Wins from Last Week at Washington High School

Good News from Washington High School
Last week was full of exciting accomplishments across academics, arts, and athletics at Washington High School, and we couldn’t be prouder of our students and staff.
Our FBLA Business and FBLA IT programs brought 27 students to the FBLA Regional Conference, where they gained valuable experience and earned multiple medals on stage after weeks of preparation and competition.
Washington’s Art students also had an incredible showing, with multiple seniors earning awards at prestigious student art exhibitions, including the New Horizons High School Student Art Exhibition at the historic Shemer Art Gallery. Their creativity and dedication stood out in highly competitive settings.
In the Performing Arts, several WHS band and orchestra musicians earned placement in the AMEA NW Region Honor Ensembles and will represent Washington at the regional festival in Lake Havasu later this month, an impressive achievement that reflects their talent and commitment.
Athletics brought more celebration as our Varsity Pom Team qualified for the USA Spirit Nationals, scoring an 84 and placing 2nd in their division. They’ll head to Anaheim the weekend of February 21 to compete against teams from across the country.
Washington High School and our entire Ramily are incredibly proud of these students for representing our school with excellence, creativity, and dedication across so many areas.
