In their season opener, the Washington Varsity Rams exploded for 10 runs in the sixth inning to secure an 18–9 victory over Cortez!

Big offensive moments came from:
Troy Kenyon with a triple that brought in two runs,
Cash Kenyon and Amar Irving each drawing walks to score runs,
Jeremiah Rodelo and Dustin Lugo adding RBI singles,
Kenyon delivering again with a two-run single,
Kaleb Bralish working a key walk, and
Angel Viegas contributing an RBI single.

After trailing by three in the fourth inning, the Rams turned things around. Johnathan Valenzuela came in on relief and helped shut things down to secure the win.
