Assignments will be given a point value depending on the complexity of the project. Most assignments will be worth 100 points. Reading and writing assignments will be included in the overall grade. These will usually be worth 50 points or less. Final grades are based on cumulative points.

90% - 100% = 1

80% - 89% = 2

70% - 79% = 3

60% - 69% = 4

0% - 59% = 5

I am available before and after school to assist students with make-up work or additional time for assignments. Projects turned in after the due date will be marked down 10%. It is always better for a student to turn in the work late than to not turn it in at all. We will accept late work any time after the due date, but prior to the end of the semester. All students are expected to do well in art class.
