Tardy Policy

If you arrive to class after the final bell rings, you are tardy.  You will sign in on the tardy log in the back of the room by the door.  After 4 tardies in my class, I will make a phone call home to your parent or guardian and you will have a detention with me.

Class Work/Homework

Student will complete all work on time to the best of their ability.  Homework is due at the beginning of the class period when the student walks in the door.  If it is turned in after that, it is considered late.

Late Work

Daily in-class work will receive no credit if turned in late.  Homework turned in late will be given half credit.  After the assignment is over a week late, I reserve the right to deny the student credit for the work.  If the student is having difficulty with a major assignment, it is their responsibility to come talk to me for extra help.  If the student is diligently working with me to complete a major assignment by coming in before or after school for help, I reserve the right to give them full credit for their work, even if it is late.  Your grade should reflect your work.  As long as you work hard, you will be successful.

Make-up Work

Students have as many class periods to turn in absent make-up work as they missed.  If you miss 1 day, the next day you are in class it is your responsibility to find out what work you missed and turn it in by the following day.  Any questions about the assignment must be discussed with the teacher before or after school, not during class time.

Class Rules

Respect others and the learning environment.

Always come to class prepared to learn with all materials.

Maintain positive communication, participating appropriately in class.

Stay on task from the beginning of class until the teacher dismisses you.
