A Treat for Students

Students Thanked for Hard Work During AzMerit Testing
AZMerit Treat

WHS students received a treat at lunch today, a thank you from the administration for their hard work during
AzMERIT testing.

Lining up in front of the cafeteria, students were given a cookie and a thank you from administrators for their completion of the AzMERIT Reading, Writing and Math tests this week.

"WHS students are taught that one of our school’s non-negotiables is that they will always do their personal best," Principal Tami Strege said. "From start to finish, our Rams scholars showed a positive attitude, an impressive effort, and definitely their personal best during this rigorous AzMERIT testing."

The AzMERIT test is a statewide, end-of-course assessment that measures skills students have learned that will help them become college- and career-ready.
