The GUHSD ACT Testing Site has valuable information and links.

Washington High School is proud to offer tutoring opportunities for students to prepare for the ACT. There are three levels of testing that will occur on April 5th.  Freshmen will take ACT Aspire, sophomores will take the Pre-ACT exam, and juniors will take the actual ACT.

- The ACT is a standardized test administered primarily to high school students in the United States, typically in their junior and/or senior years.

- The ACT measures the entry-level skills that are necessary for success in college.

- ACT is accepted by all 4- year colleges and universities in the United States.  Most require an ACT score for admission.

- The ACT is the new AZ State Assessment

The Glendale Union High School District has developed a page with links to ACT practices in the varied subjects that are assessed in the exam.  Students are encouraged to click on the links and practice the types of questions that they will encounter on the actual test.  Click on this link to visit the GUHSD webpage and become familiar with the tests.
